STORY OF LINDA
This is the story of Linda.
Linda is a poor girl. Linda's father died in the war when Linda was about five years old. She has another elder sister. Linda's sister had a broken leg, so she could not work alone. Linda's father's only hope was to Provide education for Linda and her sister well. After her father died, Linda's mother went to work as a housemaid to fulfill her father's hope. But with her sister's illness, the cost of medicine increased and Linda's sister's education stopped. After that, Linda was the only one who was educated at the school. In the meanwhile, as the mother was going to work, the sister was forced to do whatever she could to help her mother with her affairs. In this way, time passed and Linda qualified for higher education and was educated. But Linda's mother did not have the money to pay for higher education. One day Linda's mother found a bag containing some of her father's old clothes while the mother was cleaning the clothes with great sadness, she found something like a piece of paper in her pocket. It said,
Provide education to our children well, do not stop the children from learning the day I am gone. There is a gold necklace from the money collected for a long time under the oak tree in front of the house. Sell it and take the money. Spend it on the education of the children.
Mother was surprised to see this. She told Linda to come and explain this. Linda ran to the oak tree and looked at the oak tree she thought. Then, as a child, Linda remembered seeing her father dig a hole under a tree. "Dad, what is that?" How Dad laughed when asked. Linda dug under the tree and found a small iron box. Inside it was a gold necklace wrapped in a piece of cloth. "That's beautiful" Linda said as she handed the necklace to her mother. My mother sold it to a gold shop near her home and used it for Linda's education and for her sister's treatment. Four years later, Linda presented her mother with a gold necklace similar to the one her father had made from her first salary as a doctor.
